3 months update (almost)

Next week we’ll Enjoy 3 months since we started EnjoyVPS. It’s been some very interesting and busy 3 months.

So what’s new?

US East coast servers

We’ve finally finished installing our East coast servers in the USA. We had a few delays because we have our own infrastructure there (we own the actual servers, routing equipment, IP addresses, etc) but it’s finally done. You can order US East coast VPS starting today which will be automatically provisioned.

Bug fixing

We’ve worked hard to fix various bugs that were reported in our OpenVZ Control Panel. We feel that it’s allot more stable now and we’re going to concentrate on new features from now on.

Xen VPS coming soon

We’re also porting our control panel to Xen and we’ll start offering Xen based VPS in about a week. Although the prices will be higher for Xen it will still be very affordable.

We are proud to announce the release of EnjoyVPS, a VPS hosting solution that blah blah blah. If you were getting ready for yet another boring introduction, you need to go somewhere else. Let’s jump right into it:

What makes us great?

Decent prices that work for everybody (you get your VPS cheap; we make a profit)
Open-minded team with years of experience (more on the about page)
Our obsession for uptime and security (yeah we offer backups!)

What servers do we use?

While we can’t offer enterprise hardware at these prices we do offer the best you’ll find. To be more specific, we use Quad Core Intel processors (Q9400 or Q9550) with 8 GB RAM and most importantly RAID-10. RAID-10 offers both high performances and redundancy.

Why should I get a VPS?

Lots of reasons. You can hosts your sites on it (we offer cPanel/WHM), you can test various programs and school projects or you can just get it to learn Linux without breaking anything important. If you do break it, you’ll be able to reinstall it automatically from our control panel and start over.

We’ve probablly forgot to tell you about alot of great features, but we hope you’ll be convinced to discover them for yourself. This is an open blog, so feel free to comment on anything.
